Busch Gardens in Tampa is looking for a few good zombies this year.
The park is holding auditions for actors to play zombies (and ghouls and creepies) for their annual Howl-O-Scream events this fall.
Auditions will take place on the following dates:
•Friday from 3-8:30 p.m.
• Aug. 11, 3-8:30 p.m.
• Aug. 12 ,11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Aug. 19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Sept. 1, 3-8:30 p.m.
You must be 18 years of age to audition and you can fill out an application at BuschGardenJobs.com.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that over 700 positions will be filled. Starting pay is $9.75/hour and returning actors can make $11/hour.
Skipper’s Take: I hate haunted houses…but I love working in them. I was lucky to do so a few times at Six Flags Over Texas in high school during their Fright Fest events. Some of the funnest hours of work in my life. If you’ve ever wanted to do something like this and live in Central Florida, give it a shot!
