The long awaited return of the Disneyland railroad happened today as the classic attraction returned to operation.
The railroad was shut down for an extensive refurbishment and rerouting of the track due to the addition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to the northwest section of the park.
The folks over a Fresh Baked Disney uploaded a POV video of the new experience where you can see all of the changes below.
Skipper’s Take: While I rarely ride the trains at the Magic Kingdom in Florida, I’ve always considered the Disneyland Railroad a “must ride” experience when visiting the parks in California.
I love the additions and think that the reworking of the track is stunning. And the best part…the Grand Canyon and Primeval World sections are still intact.
